Leadership Presence and Impact

You always make an impact – the question is what kind

Leaders make an impression before their argument does. In meetings, in front of their team or when speaking to senior management, it is not only what they say that matters, but also how they communicate it. Those who are strong on substance but hesitant in their delivery can easily be underestimated – both professionally and personally.

The essentials of this training

When this topic becomes relevant:

Contributions in meetings go unheard, while others achieve greater impact with less substance. In front of larger groups, it becomes hard to hold the thread. Decisions are made but are not perceived as binding. Or a leader with strong technical expertise is simply not seen as a leader.

What we work on:

Assessing your own impact realistically: How do others perceive me – and where does this differ from what I intend? Getting to the point clearly and directly. Developing presence through voice, posture, pace and pauses. And handling difficult moments: interruptions, critical questions and situations in which you are under particular scrutiny.

How it works:

As a one- or two-day training for small groups of six to eight participants. Here, less is more, as each person needs sufficient time to practise and receive individual feedback. We work with real situations the participants are preparing for: an upcoming presentation, a team meeting or a conversation with senior management. Video recording can also be used if the group wishes.

What changes:

Leaders who understand their impact present themselves with greater confidence and are understood more clearly. For the company, this means messages that get through, decisions that are perceived as binding and leaders whose technical expertise is also reflected in the way they present themselves.

Does this fit your situation?

Let’s talk. In a no-obligation initial conversation, we will clarify what your situation is really about – and whether training is the right format.
